I moved because I wanted more control, not necessarily because I needed a huge server. The smaller GTHost VPS plans gave me exactly that option. I really appreciate using GTHost vps hosting because it gives me much more control over my applications and server environment than I usually get with shared hosting, while still keeping the setup relatively affordable and flexible. I needed a small VPS for a few personal websites, and the VPS-4 plan looked like a good fit. The 1GB RAM and 20GB storage were enough for what I was running. I also liked having KVM virtualization instead of a basic shared hosting setup.
